Exerting influence and providing information for affiliates and officers

FIPSU communicates European and global level information through announcements and publications. It also organises briefings on current issues, reports and surveys both for its officers and the media as well as other important partners.

FIPSU has also drawn up reports on issues such as those relating to the mobility of labour and services and the effects of European legislation on public services in Finland, and has closely followed the introduction of Public Private Partnerships in Finland. Statements on these issues have also been provided to various Committees of the Finnish Parliament. FIPSU also produces surveys and reports by international trade union organisations in Finnish to enable wider national discussion on issues relating to the safeguarding of public sector interests at the international level.
